Yes, our villas have a 2-night minimum.
We don't offer transfers directly, but we can recommend reliable local drivers. McGregor is about two hours from Cape Town International — easy to self-drive.
The Laughing Dove is our pet-friendly villa — a well-behaved dog is very welcome there. The other five villas are pet-free.
We do a proper check-in with you — a walk through the villa, a key handover, and a few minutes to make sure everything is as expected. Annie or Monika will be there.
Check-in is from 2pm. If you'd like to arrive earlier, just let us know — we're happy to arrange it where we can. Direct bookers always get priority for early check-in.
Check-out is at 10am. If you'd like a little longer, ask us — we'll do our best. Direct bookers get first preference for a late check-out too.
A natural pool is a chemical-free swimming pool that works with nature rather than against it. Ours have two sections — a planted zone where aquatic plants do the filtering, and a clear swimming zone where you actually swim. It's beautiful, it's natural, and yes — the occasional bit of algae is part of the deal. The upside? No chlorine, no skin irritation, no dried-out skin after a swim.
We understand that plans sometimes change. Here's how it works:
Cancel more than 30 days before arrival — full refund. Please note we reserve the right to retain any card transaction fees in the case of a refund to a credit card.
Cancel between 30 and 7 days before arrival — 50% cancellation fee applies.
Cancel less than 7 days before arrival — 100% of the total amount is charged.
These terms are strict and non-negotiable when booking through platforms like Airbnb or Booking.com. If you book directly with us and need to cancel a few days before arrival, we'll do our best to offer a voucher for alternative dates, subject to availability.
